In 1964, when Richard Kurtz was in 7th grade, he went to work at the family business, McGann-Kurtz Furniture in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Nothing was more important to Richard's father than reputation. He knew that if he took advantage of anyone, or tried to squeeze a few extra dollars out of a sale, people would take their business elsewhere. Work hard, do the right thing and do it well was his formula for success. Richard Kurtz and his team believe that's a tradition worth following as they serve clients throughout the upper Midwest.

Quality people… Some liquidators will descend on their clients with an army of people, each of them vying for their cut. A large sales force does not ensure large sales. On the contrary, Richard's formula for success takes the less is more approach. A small, extremely skilled crew, including your top sales leaders, provides better service to you, the client and your customers. Kurtz Sales' people know they are going to work hard, and they know they will be rewarded.
